Wild Animal Initiative's mission is to accelerate science that helps wild animals. We do this through our three core programs:

• Research: We identify and spotlight research areas with high potential to advance the field. Our research informs our funding priorities and invites the broader scientific community to further investigate key questions about wild animal welfare.

• Grants: We fund academic research on high-priority questions in wild animal welfare. The study of wild animal welfare is multidisciplinary, so we invite projects that relate to a range of research areas

• Services: We host workshops, networking events, and provide other resources to support researchers who want to study wild animal welfare.
